Southeast Asia is known for its humid climate, fabulous beaches and cultural relics. It is an amazing place to explore and make sure that you try out the local food of wherever you are travelling. Here are 5 places you’ll love in Southeast Asia.

Vietnam

Vietnam is a beautiful country known for its Buddhist Pagodas, rivers, beaches and bustling cities. The Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, has plenty of stunning French colonial architecture. Be sure to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a spectacular building which was the final resting place of the Vietnamese revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh. Ha Long Bay is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Take a trip to Phú Quốc, a destination popular for its white sand beaches, jungles and trekking trails.

Indonesia

If you love animals then exploring Indonesia will be perfect for you. You can find elephants, orangutans, tigers and Komodo dragons here. Made up of thousands of volcanic islands, Indonesia is known for its beaches and is a popular destination for snorkelling, scuba diving and trekking. Thailand

You can visit the island of Phuket which lies in the Andaman Sea and is a popular tourist destination. Cambodia

Cambodia is a country with a diverse landscape that includes low lying plains, the Gulf of Thailand coastline and the Mekong Delta. It is also popular for Angkor Wat, a massive temple complex which spans 162.6 hectares and has intricate carvings on its 12th century built temples. You can visit the Tonlé Sap, a freshwater lake known for fishing and temples. You can visit The Royal Palace, Phnom Penh which is a royal residence of the king of Cambodia. The Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum showcases the troubled history of this country and is a place to visit to know about the atrocities that took place during the time of war.
