I heard nothing but good things about Community Hostel in Quito, Ecuador. So when my friend Miles and I had a day in Quito before flying to the Galápagos Islands, I chose community because of it’s central location right in the heart of the historic area. We didn’t have time but they do offer free walking tours of the area. We ate a late dinner at Café Mosaico which features absolutely stunning views of the city.
Community Hostel is very clean, has the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen in a hostel and offers a full kitchen. The staff is kind and accommodating and you’re bound to meet some cool travelers there! They offer free coffee, tea and water all day. For under $5 you can join a big group dinner at night!
