We set off on our ice climbing tour with Arctic Adventures grateful for the gorgeous weather! Marissa, Christine and I had no idea what to expect. It has been on my lifelist as long as I’ve had one to see the Northern Lights (or the Aurora Borealis). My friends Marissa, Christine and I spent 11 days driving around the country of Iceland and while we briefly saw some color in the sky while camping-we didn’t see the Northern Lights in the way that we imagined them.
Sabine, Martine and I were thrilled to to embark on a SuperJeep expedition the the Skjaldbreiður Volcano in Iceland with Discover Iceland Super-Jeep Tours. The paved road we were driving down quickly became covered in snow, so we stopped to let some air out of the tires so that the tires can become wider to drive over the snow without sinking
