This was my first ever visit to scenic Whistler, British Columbia! I used Vacations Abroad to find a quaint bed&breakfast not too far from town. My friend John and I wasted no time exploring the surrounding nature. We watched giant salmon swim upstream in the river, hiked the Train Wreck trail to the Cheakamus River where there was a stunning waterfall! We got dinner in town at the tasty El Furniture Warehouse , then went to a dark lake 5 minutes from where we were staying to photograph the stars and then enjoyed the hot tub at The Inn at Clifftop Lane. They do serve breakfast but you have to be downstairs to eat it at 8:30am sharp, with our fun and exhausting schedule we chose to get some extra sleep instead. Our second day we decided to check out Joffre Lakes National Park as well as Green Lake. Joffre National Park was filled with turquoise lakes with massive glaciers in the mountains above.
